PIZZA FREAK CO. COLLABORATES WITH FISHTOWN PICKLE PROJECT AND HOME APPÉTIT ON LIMITED-EDITION “PICKLE FREAK PIZZA” — SELLS OUT IN 48 HOURS

PHILADELPHIA, PA — February, 8, 2026- Pizza Freak Co., the chef-created frozen pizza company co-founded by working chefs and dads, announced today that its limited-edition Pickle Freak Pizza collaboration with Fishtown Pickle Project and Home Appétit sold out in just 48 hours following launch — marking the most successful Home Appétit collaboration in Pizza Freak Co.’s history.

The collaboration features Pizza Freak Co.’s Three Cheese pizza base, paired with a 4-ounce jar of diced Philly Dilly Pickles from Fishtown Pickle Project, inviting customers to finish their pizza at home by adding bright, crunchy, refrigerator-fresh pickles just before baking — transforming a frozen pizza into an interactive, chef-driven experience.

Fishtown Pickle Project is owned by Chef Mike Sicinski and registered dietitian Niki Toscani. The company specializes in handcrafted, small-batch refrigerator pickles featuring culinary-inspired flavors that are extraordinary yet nostalgic, made with clean ingredients and no shortcuts.

“We love creating food that feels familiar but exciting,” said Toscani. “Pickle Freak Pizza does exactly that — it’s bold, playful, and rooted in real ingredients.”

Pizza Freak Co. partners with Home Appétit on special collaborations every few months, introducing exclusive chef-driven offerings to Philadelphia-area customers. This latest launch proved to be their strongest response yet.

“Philly customers are hungry for experiences, not just meals,” said Lee Wallach, Founder of Home Appétit. “Pickle Freak Pizza brought together three brands that care deeply about quality and creativity — and the response speaks for itself.”

Pizza Freak Co. Co-Founder Brad Daniels emphasized the collaborative spirit behind the project:

“This collaboration is everything Pizza Freak stands for — great ingredients, chef-driven ideas, and giving people permission to make it their own at home. Starting with our Three Cheese pie and letting people finish it with Philly Dilly pickles turns a frozen pizza into an experience. Seeing it sell out in two days — and become our most successful Home Appétit collaboration ever — tells us we’re onto something special.”

The launch marks another milestone for Pizza Freak Co. as it continues building momentum through chef partnerships and community-driven collaborations that blur the line between restaurant-quality food and freezer-friendly convenience.

Following the rapid sell-out, Pizza Freak Co. plans to bring Pickle Freak Pizza to upcoming retail pop-ups and in-store “Taste It Fresh” experiences across the Philadelphia area.
